Diagnostics & Imaging

Dr. Lorch graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and has been with Lewiston Veterinary Clinic since 2005. She works with dairy cows, goats, small ruminants, and companion animals, and is accredited with the Food Armor program. She lives on a hobby farm near Lewiston with her husband, three children, and a variety of animals. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, church and school activities, and raising goats and rabbits.

Dr. Karen Lorch

Veterinarian

Dr. Flathers graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and specializes in companion animal medicine and surgery, with a special interest in orthopedics. He lives in Worthington with his wife, Laura, their two children, and a household full of pets including three poodles and three cats.

Dr. Scharmer grew up on a hobby farm near Winona, MN, and developed his passion for veterinary medicine through 4-H. He graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, hunting, woodworking, sports, and park outings with his wife, Becca, and their daughter, Wren.

Dr. Ethan Scharmer

Dr. Noel, originally from Faribault, MN, earned her veterinary degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She provides both companion and production animal care in Lewiston. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, camping, riding her horse, and working on sewing and embroidery projects.

Dr. Aliyyah Noel

Natalie joined the practice in October 2021 and holds degrees in Business Management and Marketing, along with an Event Management Certificate. She enjoys boating, hiking, camping, hockey, and keeping up with her kids. At home, she cares for a Border Collie, a Catahoula Leopard, a Lovebird, and a Bearded Dragon.

Practice Manager

Jennifer started at the practice in October 2021. She enjoys camping, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. At home, she has a dog, Paisley, and a horse, Lilly.

Helen joined the Lewiston and Eyota clinics in September 2022 and earned her CVT in spring 2024 after graduating from Rochester Community College. She enjoys hiking, fishing, crocheting, and walking her three dogs, Laila, Kiara, and Darla.

Kayla joined the Lewiston and Eyota clinics in 2017 after earning her bachelor's degree in veterinary technology from North Dakota State University. She enjoys reading, hiking state parks, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their border collie, Saige.
